Gus & Lina Ocamposilva started the "skin of Colors Body Painting”
project in 2008 to tell the world their  concerns about  our planet,
its environment and to show the beauty, the landscape and the
poetry of the human body.

Working as a team they are able to combine their talents; she
behind the camera and he  as the creative mind,  able to express
his artistic abilities painting the bodies  and using  digital art to
bring ideas to life.

With the Environmental body painting series, they put
together ideas such as air pollution, water pollution,
deforestation, oil spills etc… using the human body as
3D canvases, they tell stories with different elements within
the same space,  wanting  people not only to be able to
discover the environmental message they  want to sent out,
but also to give a meaning and purpose to our lives and
our roll as humans on planet earth.

As artists they recreated the human landscape with
colors transforming the skin with different lines and forms adding
backgrounds to the photography making them also part of the Body
painting .

With Skin of Colors they created their own style with character
using bright colors and shapes that appear and pervade showing
poignancy and verb in all their body paintings.

Trough their body painting series they have risen the simple
concept of Body art to fine art.
