"I started the "Environmental body paint
photography project" with my wife Lina almost two
years ago to tell the world our concerns about our
planet and its environment.
In a series of more than 25 body paintings we put
together ideas such as air pollution, water
pollution, deforestation, oil spills etc using the
human body as 3D canvases; telling a story with
different elements within the same space.
With this images we want the people not only to be
able to discover the environmental message
we want to sent out but also to give a meaning an
purpose to our lives and our roll as humans
on our planet.
As artists we recreated the human landscape
with colors transforming the skin with different
lines and forms adding backgrounds to the
photography making it also part of the Body paint .
We created our own style with character using
bright colors and shapes that appear and pervade
showing poignancy and verb in all our Body paint
photographs .
Trough our Body paint photography we have
risen the simple concept of Body art to fine art
photography".
